Shahid Basheer
Shahid Basheer, one of the founders of Ocean Luxe has over 30-years’ experience as a sailor, starting from his youth as a Sea Cadet to actively racing and cruising sailing yachts around the world.
Shahid is also an experienced Marine Surveyor specialising in both Superyachts as well as commercial shipping.
Having represented the country in Sailing Events around the world, Shahid is an experienced hand at all things Yachting!

Rustom Mistri
Rustom Mistri has felt that call of the ocean since he was a child. In the early 2000s, Rustom played a key role in setting up H20, Mumbai’s first water-sports centre at Chowpatty, bringing the thrill of ocean sport to the heart of the city. A proficient sailor himself, Rustom carves time out of his busy schedule to take to the waves every weekend. When he is not cruising the open sea, he can be found on the open road enjoying one of his vintage motorbikes. A self-professed people’s person, and amateur farmer, Rustom also runs an eco-stay farmhouse just outside Mumbai where he enjoys hosting and cooking for his guests, using ingredients that he grows himself.
Zarina Elias
Zarina Elias comes from a family with several generations of experience in the world of business and finance. Personally, she has overseen the forex component of her family business through the course of her career. An avid traveler herself, Zarina also heads Ceylon Unlimited Holidays, a company dedicated to curating vacations to Sri Lanka and specializes in wildlife trips around India. A dedicated professional, Zarina brings her meticulous on-ground research and attention to detail to each package she designs. A qualified sailor herself, Zarina regularly participates in various yacht races in Mumbai, and is regular on the sailing scene in the country.
